Captura is a California-based startup founded in 2021 offering safe, permanent, scalable, and verifiable carbon removal at ultra low cost utilizing our novel Direct Ocean Capture approach, which requires just ocean water and renewable energy as inputs. By leveraging the ocean's natural carbon capturing abilities, we do not require any purpose-built air contactors or absorbers.
