Senior Accountant

<div><span style="font-size:12pt;">You will primarily focus on supporting new business acquisitions for Scale’s various products and services and delivering our go-to-market strategy by handling sales material generation and support, meeting with customers, generating proposals and RFP responses, and following up on marketing campaigns with Inside Sales whilst striving to optimize margin and customer retention. Corporate Paralegal

<div><span style="font-size:12pt;">You will support the organization in managing its contract negotiations and obligations pre- and post-contract execution and provide hands-on support for diligence activities required by our capital solutions division. Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer you will work a hybrid schedule from one of our offices in either Ridgewood, NJ, Manhattan, NYC, or Santa Monica, CA. Contracts Manager

Project Finance Associate

<div><b style="font-size:12pt;">The Role</b></div><div><span style="font-size:12pt;">We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain and Procurement to own commercial relationships with equipment vendors, contractors, and other service providers across the supply chain for our renewable energy projects.  This includes identifying vendors, negotiating preferred terms and prices, developing and implementing our procurement strategy, ensuring supply availability, and supporting engineering efforts to standardize designs of distributed energy systems.  This is a great role for someone looking to play a leadership role at a fast-growing PE backed business. This role will report to the Chief Operations Officer and ideally be based in the Northeast US or California.  </span></div><br><br><h3>Key responsibilities will include:</h3><ul><li>Define and implement the overall procurement strategy, strategic sourcing, and supplier selection, aimed at optimizing costs and operational efficiencies.</li><li>Develop procurement policies, implement sourcing strategies, and conduct supplier selection processes to identify the best sourcing options.</li><li>Define and develop cost roadmaps for all equipment and services.</li><li>Collaborate with Scale’s engineering team to understand technical requirements for equipment and other components, including battery energy storage, solar PV, generators and generator components, inverters, switchgear, and other balance of system components.</li><li>Work with Scale’s project delivery team to understand construction, engineering and EPC requirements for projects and with Scale’s asset management team to understand third-party operations and maintenance service requirements.</li><li>Identify suppliers with conforming equipment specifications and/or capabilities, appropriate quality controls, and bankable performance history.</li><li>Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers and drive procurement activities utilizing standard framework agreements to facilitate purchasing activities.</li><li>Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply while managing risks across the supply chain.</li><li>Work with engineering to standardize system designs, implementation, and operations, considering supply chain risks, costs, etc.</li><li>Guide internal teams to resolve cross-functional issues related to equipment, construction, and operations. </li><li>Track and analyze vendor performance, establish and maintain relevant KPI’s, monitor and manage relevant metrics including spend analytics, operational efficiencies, supplier performance, warranty recovery and benefit capture from procurement activities.</li><li>Identify and execute initiatives to increase procurement process efficiency &amp; effectiveness, including implementation of procurement software solutions.</li></ul><h3>The Ideal Candidate</h3><ul><li>10+ years of supply chain development and/or strategic sourcing experience</li><li>Deep working knowledge of the renewable energy market and vendor landscape, pricing, terms and trends</li><li>Skilled at vetting vendors for quality and experience </li><li>Comfortable presenting to and negotiating with local distributors as well as high-level executives</li><li>Solid knowledge and demonstrated understanding of sourcing and/or purchasing leadership, vendor relations, procurement, sourcing, distribution, and tracking program savings and supplier service KPIs</li><li>Ability to influence internal and external teams, with strong negotiation skills</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and manage risks</li><li>Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders including engineering on technical subject matters</li><li>Background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering is helpful. <div><b style="font-size:12pt;">The Role</b></div><div><span style="font-size:12pt;">We are looking for an Applications/Project Engineer to provide comprehensive applications/project engineering support for our distributed energy and microgrid projects that typically include managing a variety of DER and microgrid assets such as solar, energy storage, controls, and reciprocating engines. You will report to our Sr. Director of Project Engineering and Estimation, and you'll likely be based out of the Northeast or California.  </span></div><br><br><h3>Key responsibilities will include:</h3><ul><li>Utilize your strong technical and communication skills to interface with all aspects of the business and customers</li><li>Work extensively with our Business Development (BD) teams to evaluate and develop the right technical solutions </li><li>Work with the BD, execution, and commercial teams on specific projects to ensure the integration of the Microgrid is technically correct, practical, and cost-effective. This includes working with existing service entrance one-line drawings, or creating new ones, to provide the best design interface for functionality and cost</li><li>Investigate the interconnection which includes modifications to existing design concepts that are applicable to each site</li><li>Work with switchgear manufacturers (and other OEMs) like Schneider Electric to develop innovative designs and costing that are scalable to many jobs and customer sites. This includes working at voltage levels of 13.8, 4160, 480, and 208 depending on site and system size</li><li>Provide significant input to the solar, battery, and generator designs to optimize performance, reliability, and sustainability for each customer site</li><li>Manage engineering consultants in the preparation of detailed engineering and construction drawings and specifications.</li></ul><h3>The Ideal Candidate</h3><ul><li>A minimum of 7 years experience in the design and construction of power/generation/renewable energy projects</li><li>Thorough technical understanding of distributed energy technologies, including some combination of solar, battery, and reciprocating engines/turbines</li><li>Deep understanding of rotating power with reciprocating engines in the 200 to 2000kw size range per engine. This includes parallel operation with the utility bus as well as with other DERs both in grid parallel mode as well as island mode operations. </li><li>Solid understanding of the utility side of the interconnection.</li><li>Knowledge of the various DER power sources within the Microgrid and how they best interface with the utility to provide the most efficient system.</li><li>Knowledge of emissions from the utility side as well as each of the DERs.  </li><li>Knowledge of systems controls for all the DERs and how they can be utilized to accomplish specific operating goals while part of the Microgrid.
