The nonprofit pioneered its 501vc® Investment Fund to align philanthropic and corporate contributions to deliver economic, environmental, and social impact. Upon investing, Evergreen works actively to help portfolio companies achieve their milestones and connect to funding, demonstration opportunities, customers, and investors.
Evergreen is committed to catalyzing underrepresented and emerging climate innovation hubs across the Greater Midwest. The team advances and expands access to innovation, and cultivates an ecosystem of investors, donors, and collaborators. To date, Evergreen has invested in 41 Midwest-founded startups that are creating jobs, generating investment returns, and providing solutions for the climate emergency.
