The Job
As QA Manager, you are responsible for executing and drafting company-wide Quality &amp; SHE vision and plans, taking all stakeholders into account. You are able to set priorities for which proposals for improvement must be initiated and implemented first. 
Activities

<li>Realization of agreed Quality Management System on site (planning and performance of audits) at project site including tracking of deviations / non-conformances detected </li>
<li>First point of contact for BCC campus and government for SHE matters</li>
<li>Increasing awareness of safe working practices and quality perception</li>
<li>Supervising external audits and carrying out internal audits (QA + SHE)</li>
<li>Actively seeking cooperation with colleagues in R&amp;D and the technology group to solve problems together</li>
<li>Provides the R&amp;D department with the desired input from the plant</li>
<li>Provide guidance for higher level decisions required for change management and deviation investigations, as required.</li>
<li>Ensure all factory documentation is compliant with customer and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Is co-responsible for the functional supervision of all employees within the Geleen plant in the field of Quality &amp; Safety</li>

Your main tasks include:

<li>Research &amp; Development projects in the field of process development, with the current focus on the process of chemical recycling of various polycondensates. The projects concern equipment selection, scale-up and design (determining operating windows of the equipment to fulfill product quality),</li>

The Job
Your research activities in Ioniqa contribute to the successful process development and plant start-up and optimization, We are looking for a laboratory technician for our QC laboratory at our plant in Geleen. In this role you will be working together with another laboratory technician, and you will be in the widest sense responsible for analyses and logistical processes. 
The analytical equipment that you will be responsible for includes an HPLC, a GC, a Karl Fischer, an XRF and a colourimeter. In addition to performing the analyses and interpreting the results, you will maintain the analytical equipment, which will include calibration, periodic maintenance, troubleshooting, and the replacement of parts. 
It is important that you gain a good understanding of the process throughout the plant, so that you are able to understand the implications of particular analytical results and can discuss these with the operations team when necessary. You will also be involved in decisions regarding developing analytical methods and improving the QC lab as a whole.Requirements

<li>Completed MLO4/HLO education;</li>
<li>Relevant experience with HPLC-UV, GC-FID, Karl Fischer, XRF and colourimeters;</li>
<li>Experience troubleshooting and maintaining the above instruments is a plus;</li>
