We are now seeking a full-time experienced Packing Production Associate to be part of a product Packing team in our Cabra Figa warehouse. You’ll be part of the weekly production team and have the responsibility of operating a packing computerized machine. Our ideal candidate has solid experience with operating packing computerized machines. Portuguese residents only.  You'll report to one of our Packing Production Shift Leaders. Main Goals <ul><li>Follow the Weekly Production Planning shared by the shift leader.</li><li>Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.</li><li>Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.</li><li>Operate all equipment (including new technologies) efficiently and safely.</li><li>Expedite repairs to the line, working with maintenance as necessary.</li></ul> Responsibilities <ul><li>Ensure smoothie package and product quality.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance.</li><li>Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift.</li><li>Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices.</li><li>Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere.</li><li>Monitor production to resolve issues or to report to the upper-level manager or shift leader.</li><li>Follow health and safety rules.</li><li>Evaluate data and evidences, detect any relevant deviations from existing standards, and communicate to management.</li><li>Availability to work different shifts and on weekends.</li><li>Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.</li></ul> Experience You Bring <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (Professional Technical Courses).</li><li>At least 1-2 years of experience with packing computerized machines in manufacturing sites.</li><li>Experience with high-speed production lines (e.g., high output, high-performance equipment, fast-paced production environment, etc.).</li><li>Experience with pallets (e.g., operating a forklift, stacking/bundling the product, etc.).</li><li>Experience operating a filler machine (e.g., ensuring right product, operating the production computer, etc.).</li><li>Experience reading schedules (e.g., products being produced, understanding production requirements, production planning, managing changeovers, etc.).</li><li>Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting (e.g., electronic settings, line speed, pressures, basic troubleshooting, solving for faults/alarms and resetting equipment, etc.).</li><li>Experience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.).</li><li>Experience with preventative maintenance (e.g., inspecting and maintaining equipment, detecting and correcting issues before they occur, etc.).</li><li>A good command of spoken and written English and Portuguese.</li><li>Ability to handle random volumes with a weight of up to 25 kg (maximum).</li></ul> Bonus Points <ul><li>Experience with the packing machine model VAMINI 300 JJS and Digital control model OMRON NB7W – TW01B.</li><li>Experience in the Food, Food supplements, or Pharmaceutical industries.</li><li>Experience with sanitization (e.g., basic procedures/steps, good manufacturing practices in a food plant, identifying risks).</li><li>Experience with HACCP.</li></ul> How To Apply Along with your CV, please answer the questions found in the application.
