At Pexapark, we help our clients build up the capabilities, processes and systems to successfully navigate these challenges. The journey began in August 2017, when energy traders Michael Waldner and Luca Pedretti, together with software entrepreneur Florian Müller, set out to do their share in shaping the renewable energy transition. They began to build a complete solution for renewable energy investors and operators with tools that would support the entire process: identifying opportunities and pricing energy sales contracts, executing, monitoring and managing renewable energy revenues and risks, contracts and complex portfolios in post subsidy markets.  The Role Pexapark is looking for a Regional Lead to join our PPA Transactions team to advise Pexapark’s clients (Europe’s largest renewable energy producers, primarily across Europe but increasingly beyond) on the best possible PPA strategy, taking a leading role in the sourcing, structuring and negotiation of the PPAs. You will be supported by our sophisticated software solutions and learn from the expert team that made Pexapark what it is today: the European market leader in PPA Advisory.   The team has successfully supported 30,000MW of PPA transactions over the past years, and boasts credentials including the largest European solar PPA to date (Talayuela in Spain with Encavis AG); improvement of the investment case for some iconic offshore wind farms in Northern Europe; supporting the successful bidders in public tenders for major infrastructure (e.g. offshore wind tenders) and finding the right utility or corporate off-takers for their clients.   Our missions are varied, conducted in a fun atmosphere and provide a steep learning curve to our team members. Join the fun now! How will you help:<ul><li> Nurture and grow Pexapark’s PPA Transaction business in Great Britain and Ireland (including direct reports, driving the business for the region, creating a plan, targets, budget, etc.)</li><li> Originate new leads and new markets for our advisory services</li><li> Create optimal energy revenue strategy for Pexapark’s clients</li><li> Perform commercial due diligence on PPA contracts and term sheet drafting</li><li> Lead the PPA negotiations day-to-day, until the completion</li><li> Develop solid working relationships with key players of the PPA world (main producers, corporate off-takers, utilities)</li><li> Liaise with our Quant team and lever our software to evaluate complex PPA structures</li></ul> What you’ll bring:<ul><li> Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sense of ownership and a track record of delivering results</li><li> Solid hands-on experience in origination, trading, or investment transactions in renewable energies</li><li> Impeccable team spirit</li><li> Analytical mind and an aptitude for creative problem-solving</li><li> Strong project management skills, outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to quickly reduce complex information into actionable frameworks, and connect at all levels with the clients</li><li> A degree in business, engineering or similar</li><li> A good sense of humour</li></ul>  How We Work At Pexapark, we have our own way of doing things.
