The Role Here at one•fıve, we are on a mission to reduce single use plastic impact on our planet. Using Machine Learning, AI and advanced material science techniques, we partner with global brands to provide awesome, reliable, scalable and most importantly sustainable packaging solutions across Europe and beyond.As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance &amp; Quality Manager to support our Research &amp; Development and Commercial functions, reporting into the General Manager, Business Unit. This role will have stakeholder management responsibilities across the business, senior leaders and external customers and partners. You will play a critical role in ensuring quality control, regulatory compliance and certification in all of our finished goods and future developments. This is a Remote First role and we are open to candidates +/- 2hrs CET, however the role would occasionally require travel to the Hamburg office, as that’s where physical goods are in stock &amp; managed. We are open to freelance or permanent part-time work, and flexible with working hours.  How you'll help build one•fıve <ul><li>Regulatory Compliance - assess regulatory requirements across various production locations and partner facilities. Lead internal compliance with international and local regulations for paper-based packaging, including EU, FDA, and other applicable standards.</li><li>Regulatory Certification - Prepare, update and maintain Certificates of Conformity (e.g. food safety, recyclability, FSC/PEFC certification). </li><li>Supplier &amp; Documentation Management - Maintain a structured database of quality &amp; compliance obligations. Request, collect &amp; verify supplier documentation, and coordinate audits of supplier quality performance as needed. </li><li>Quality Control &amp; Assurance - Oversee &amp; implement quality control procedures for incoming raw materials and finished goods. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions in cases of deviations or product defects.</li><li>Standard Operating Procedures - Develop and implement SOPs for quality checks. Define and maintain inspection criteria together with product management and production, to ensure consistency across batches.</li><li>Customer Support &amp; Reporting - Provide timely responses and detailed documentation for customer requests related to product safety, regulatory compliance and sustainability. Support Commercial &amp; R&amp;D teams with regulatory insights for new product development. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Control (Consultant/Freelance)

The Role We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the architecting and development of our core data platform, including the architecting of our data warehouse and data infrastructure, co-own and supervise the data modelling in our data collection tools as well as support diverse data systems integrations.Please note this is a Remote First role and we are open to candidates +/- 2hrs CET, however we have a preference for Spain or Germany based candidates due to company registered locations. How you'll help build one•fıve <ul><li>Data Platform Ownership: Lead the design and implementation of our data platform, ensuring scalability and robustness..</li><li>Data Modelling: engage in data modelling for third-party data collection tools like Benchling, optimizing data structures for effective data integration and utilization. Support stakeholders owning third-party data collection tools (ERPs, CRMs, etc) by providing insights and recommendations to make their data models more robust.</li><li>Data Visualization and Analytics culture: Foster a strong data analytics culture by developing and implementing a robust data analytics layer to support insights generation, ML development and analytics dashboards.</li><li>Cloud Infrastructure Management: Participate in managing our cloud infrastructure to support data operations and application needs effectively.</li><li>Strategic Planning: Actively contribute to discussions and development of the Tech roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.</li><li>Supervision and Mentorship: oversee and mentor juniors or interns, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining high-quality codebases.</li><li>Cross-Domain Collaboration: Work closely with Domain experts to model data after business logic. Engage with Software Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure seamless integration of cloud services, including data pipelines and machine learning services.</li></ul> Who you are <ul><li>You have at least 3 years of proven experience in data engineering and data platform architecture, particularly in startup and scale-up environments.</li><li>You are very experienced in data modeling and database design for diverse types of data and uses.
