This role will primarily focus on contributing to the generation of a pipeline of carbon projects in Europe.Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:<ul><li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with project owners, such as forest management companies, landowners, bioenergy facilities, etc.</li><li>Identify new business opportunities following the guidelines of regulations, local policies, and main carbon project registries and standards.</li><li>Participating in origination conferences</li><li>Collect data from reports and webinars for analysis</li><li>Work with our back-office team on contracting, NDA, admin processes, etc.</li></ul>Required Education, Experience and Certification:<ul><li>Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Forestry, Climate Change or similar.</li><li>Must currently be authorized to work in Spain.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience in the carbon market with an understanding of methodologies and standards</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Communicates effectively</li><li>Understanding of European legislation and regulations (CRCF, GCD, among others) is a plus</li><li>Master's degree in Climate Change, Environmental Science or Business Administration is a plus.</li></ul><div>Equal EmploymentAnew is committed to providing equal employment opportunities.
