A Permitting Coordinator works directly with AHJs (Authority Having Jurisdiction) to obtain solar permits while coordinating with customers and field operations technicians. They are detail-oriented and passionate about coordinating with others to see a permit application through to approval. They pride themselves in setting their peers up for success by having great quality and efficiency. Essential Duties:   <ul><li>Coordinate &amp; communicate with customers to get permitting documents signed  </li><li>Fill out portal forms, permit applications, and/or other applications to submit to AHJs (states, cities, counties)  </li><li>Master each AHJ’s geographic information system (GIS)  </li><li>Coordinate &amp; schedule field operation technicians to submit to AHJs in-person </li><li>Pay for permitting expenses and manage transactions  </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:   <ul><li>Strong time management </li><li>Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills   </li><li>High attention to detail </li><li>Willingness to collaborate with other departments and build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in solving issues </li></ul>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel should be expected with this role as well.

You will spend 70-90% of your day working on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions. The most important feature of a good solar installer is being someone willing to learn, and motivated. Someone wanting to make a difference while providing world-class customer service skills. We care about all our employees and constantly seek to maintain a healthy work/life balance.  Essential Duties: <ul><li>Follow layout plans and perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment  </li><li>Support the crew to assure the successful completion of the solar system installation </li><li>Document completion of quality installation  </li><li>Compliance with OSHA standards </li></ul>Key Competencies: <ul><li>MUST have active LRT License for state of Oregon.</li><li>Must be able to consistently carry up to 60 pounds  </li><li>Must be comfortable working with heights (Ladders, stairs, and roofs) </li><li>Must have a reliable means of transportation </li><li>Prior residential solar installation experience preferred but not required  </li><li>Prior roofing/roofer experience or residential construction preferred but not required </li></ul>
