The pace at which we can ramp up our Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) generation is directly tied to our ability to source organic waste and new sites. The Business Development Director will be responsible for developing new organic waste partnerships and injection wells co-located with those partners.   Reporting to the VP of Business Development, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to);  <ul><li>Waste Partner Acquisition: Source and secure organic waste partners with waste management companies, large industrials, and large agriculture companies. </li><li>Site Selection and Development: Work with organic waste partners to identify suitable sites for injection wells near their facilities and drive the development of those injection wells. </li><li>Negotiations and Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations with key waste partners and drive those negotiations to ideal environmental and business outcomes for Vaulted Deep. </li><li>Internal Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and work closely with internal teams, including subsurface, regulatory and carbon offtake teams, to identify partners and sites that meet Vaulted’s site development requirements and have a high likelihood of permitting success. </li><li>Strategic Alignment: Align sites and partners with Vaulted’s high-level strategy, including focusing on areas with good geology, favorable regulatory environments, large volumes of organic waste and substantial co-benefits. </li></ul> What You Will Bring  To succeed in this role, and to help the company to succeed in our mission, the Business Development Director will need restlessness, drive, hustle, and a deep sense of urgency. You will operate, monitor, and maintain screening and loading equipment to facilitate the adequate processing of organic waste. You will safely load the organic waste into trucks at waste supplier sites which will then travel to Vaulted’s Great Plains facility. You will strictly comply with the facility’s safety protocol and determine the safety of incoming material.  Ultimately, your work as a Vaulted Heavy Equipment Operator will help to slow climate change by sequestering organic waste that removes harmful Green House Gases (GHGs) from the atmosphere that would otherwise pollute the environment and local communities.  This role pays $23 per hour with pay raises after a 90-day probationary period and ample opportunities for bonuses. Why This Job is Great <ul><li>Steady income and job stability. By operating machinery that takes organic waste polluting the surrounding environment (i.e., excess manure from farms), your work will help to clean up and protect your community. Responsibilities of this role are as follows (and others that may not be listed):   <ul><li>Direct and assist truck drivers into proper position/location for screening and loading at waste supplier sites. </li><li>Operate feedstock screening equipment that sorts and cleans organic waste. </li><li>Determine whether the screened waste can be transported to Vaulted’s Great Plains facility for processing and injection. While the baseline hourly requirement for this role sits at 40 hours/week, most of our operators work an average of 50 hours per week, earning substantial overtime pay. By operating machinery that takes organic waste polluting the surrounding environment (i.e., excess manure from farms), your work will help to clean up and protect your community. The pace at which we can ramp up our Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) generation is directly tied to our ability to locate, permit, and develop new injection sites in different geographies.
