There are four facilities throughout the Chicagoland area that specialize in purchasing recyclable commodities that most recyclers cannot handle. These include recyclables ranging from commercially generated cardboard, all grades of printer paper, office paper, shrink wrap, plastics, Super Sacs to many other commodities. Body Shop Technician

<div>Description</div><div>Position Purpose:Responsible for personnel, productivity, safety, and budgetary compliance the Maintenance Shop. Plans, organizes and manages the maintenance and service of multiple Recycling facilities. Assures compliance with established environmental procedures, safety procedures, standard operating procedures, standards, policies, and emergency response procedures. Primary Duties/Responsibilities:• Manages daily operation and maintenance and ensures compliance with operational, QC, safety, environmental, and performance metrics. Typically works through Operations, Maintenance and Plant Supervisors to ensure that plant resources are being utilized to achieve required objectives. Teaches cost control and provides effective counsel / direction, especially where corrective actions are needed.• Supervises and coordinates the work, training, and education of all maintenance personnel.•  Supervises and coordinates the maintenance schedules of the plant, Issues a daily schedule of work and other advance schedules as may aid subordinates in planning their work.• Ensures that all prescribed or necessary security and safety precautions are understood and strictly observedand enforced• Leads investigation of plant mishaps to determine Root Causes for deficiencies in plant productivity, safety, and efficiency.• Ensures adequate repair parts, supplies, and services are available to maintenance personnel.• Executes the organization and operation of the plant's preventative maintenance program and is responsible to senior management for adequate management of repair parts inventories.•  Continuously monitors, documents, and evaluates the implementation of management control systems to include management control assessments, training, and tracking systems.• Reviews and reports, records, logs and confirms the adequacy of present and projected production.
