To date, Easy Solar has reached more than 1,000,000 beneficiaries through its extensive network of agents and outlets throughout Sierra Leone and Liberia. About the RoleEasy Solar is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This role will manage a team and be responsible for planning, procurement, office operations &amp; inbound logistics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining operational efficiency across the entire inbound supply chain.Additionally, the role involves running a Sales &amp; Operations Planning process to support our fast-growing, multi-country business. General Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Planning:<ul><li>Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.</li><li>Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability across all stock holding locations.</li><li>Optimize warehouse and distribution strategies to reduce lead times and costs.</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain planning with sales, production, and financial goals.</li></ul>Procurement &amp; Supplier Management:<ul><li>Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and service agreements with vendors and suppliers.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and compliance with company standards and regulations.</li><li>Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels.</li></ul>Inbound Logistics &amp; Inventory Management:<ul><li>Manage inbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-efficient transportation.</li><li>Coordinate customs clearance and regulatory compliance for imports.</li><li>Develop and oversee inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.</li><li>Work with logistics providers to streamline shipping, tracking, and warehousing processes.</li></ul>Office Operations &amp; Administration:<ul><li>Oversee procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services to support daily operations.</li><li>Ensure efficient office administration, including vendor management, lease agreements, and facility maintenance.</li><li>Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.</li></ul>Key Goals &amp; Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):<ol><li>Inventory Optimization: Maintain an optimal inventory turnover ratio to minimize holding costs and reduce stockouts.</li><li>Supplier Performance Management: Ensure 95% on-time delivery rate from suppliers and maintain quality compliance.</li><li>Cost Reduction Initiatives: Achieve a 10% reduction in procurement and logistics costs annually without compromising quality.</li><li>Operational Efficiency: Reduce inbound lead time by 20% through improved logistics and supplier coordination.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Risk Management: Ensure 100% compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.</li><li>Team Development: Percentage of team members meeting development goals 100%</li><li>Customer Satisfaction: Satisfaction rating from internal stakeholders regarding procurement and planning services ≥ 90% satisfaction</li></ol>Required Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.</li><li>A Master’s degree in supply chain management  or any of the Supply Chain Certification (e.g., APICS, CIPS, CSCMP) is a plus.</li><li>Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, and supplier negotiations.</li><li>Experience in import/export regulations and compliance.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems [odoo knowledge is a plus]</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication abilities to work cross-functionally.</li><li>Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, and influence other supply chain functions.</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives.</li><li>Women are encouraged to apply.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>A very attractive, performance-based remuneration with benefits.</li><li>Plenty of opportunities to grow within the company and take management positions.</li><li>The opportunity to take part in one of West Africa’s most exciting entrepreneurial projects that has a strong commitment to outstanding customer service, user-friendly, high-quality life-changing devices, and environmental sustainability.</li><li>Frequent coaching and training.</li><li>The opportunity to work closely with a young, international, tech-driven team of renewable energy enthusiasts.</li></ul></div></div>
