Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate, Sales Operations will be responsible for overseeing the interactions between Inspire, our sales partners, and vendors for the Retail Channel. These relationships intertwine to create a meaningful and positive experience for our Field Avengers, Members, and their homes while creating value for our business. The ideal candidate is passionate about their career, motivated and has a genuine interest in renewable energy.

THE ASSOCIATE, SALES OPERATIONS HAS NINE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ownership of sales uniform, equipment, and materials sourcing, purchasing orders, tracking inventory needs, and budget adherence with Retail sales leaders and Marketing. 
  2. Ownership of transaction management workflows for new Retail sales partner and agent onboarding
  3. Manage tablet inventory, utilization tracking, reordering and opportunities for cost saving for all Retail sales partners
  4. Drive testing and quality assurance of new features and enhancements in the Retail sales process flows
  5. Ensure all day to day processes are documented within the Sales Operations wiki page as a source of truth and assist in training for new members of the sales team. 
  6. Maintain response time and sales operations vendor service levels (SLAs) and support key initiatives for the Retail Channel across the business
  7. Identify and recommend process improvements and cost savings for the Retail channel. 
  8. Effectively communicate with peers, external partners and sales team members
  9. Become a subject matter expert on key sales operations processes for the Retail Channel

SOME YEAR 1 DELIVERABLES

  • Identify key needs for improving Lighthouse Scheduling Tool
  • Increase partner utilization of Lighthouse Scheduling tool to be greater than 85%
  • Onboard all Retail partners managers/admins onto new internal Sales Ops Helpdesk and Cases System

SUCCESS METRICS

  • Respond to agent set up or tablet requests from sales partners within 1 hour during business hours
  • 99% Uptime for Sales Ops Vendors and Processes
  • 80% utilization of tablets across our retail sales teams
  • 100% of new Retail Launches on or ahead of schedule

EXPERIENCE

  • Must Have
    • Leadership experience in school, a sport, a club, a past job, etc.
    • Member/Customer service experience in any type of setting
  • Nice to Have
    • BA or BS from college or university
    • 1-3 years relevant experience
    • Experience supporting Face to Face sales teams
    • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple tasks/projects with a high sense of urgency
    • Experience communicating (written and oral) with external partners/vendors
    • Experience with triaging urgent issues and resolution
    • Experience working in the G Suite
