What you’ll do:
Develop use cases that link climate forecasts to agronomic impacts in ways that create value for our customers
Onboard customers to ClimateAi’s platform and ensure the platform is suited to deliver insights tailored to their crop, location, and position in the Ag value chain
Tap your knowledge and external resources (academics, advisors, etc.) to continue to build and manage our domain knowledge and agronomic database
Translate customer needs into technical requirements, based on the combination of agronomic value drivers and climate forecasts
Collaborate with the data science team to deliver on those requirements via ClimateAi’s platform
Be an advisor to the customer and deliver those results, ensuring a direct link between our forecasts and business metrics (yield, quality, etc.)
Help build the Customer Solutions function: define and drive processes that will enable us scale
Grow with us: future opportunities to take on more responsibilities as our company and needs grow
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience reviewing agronomic literature and transforming it into useful insights to inform decisions
Experience translating agronomic insights into financial metrics, as evidenced by relevant past business roles or qualifications (e.g. an MBA)
3+ years working in an agronomic role (sales agronomy, production agronomy, etc.) supporting on-farm decision making
Expertise on certain crops - and an ability to leverage external resources (academic literature, external experts) to fill gaps in that knowledge
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clear communications to customers and data scientists alike
Strong project management skills: Ability to drive outcomes across teams, and in a timely fashion
A good listener: able to hear and understand the customer needs and the different perspectives of relevant stakeholders
Experience working in data science and/or weather and climate related environments is a plus
Most importantly, a passion for climate change solutions
