Job Description

Position Description The chemist/metallurgist/chemical engineer will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to engineers help build and deliver solutions to customers in to the recycling and mining industries. This person will be responsible for developing technical solutions to support Nth Cycle’s product development, and will work within the R&D Team to deliver solutions in the areas of: leaching procedures for new metal feedstocks, developing test parameters to validate new materials, and characterizing metal products.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute procedures to digest new feedstocks for specific application metrics.

• Qualify procedures through characterization techniques.

• Collaborate with the R&D and Product Team to scale pre-processing methods for improved performance.

• Communicate technical results and challenges across the organization to advance product development.

• Characterize metal products

Experience & Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in a metallurgy-related field (e.g. Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chem Engineer) with a preference for at least ceChemical chemor similar) three years of experience in a wet chemistry laboratory or industry environment.

• Demonstrated aptitude in aqueous & solid metal analyses such as AA, ICP-MS, UVvis, XRD, XRF, XPS, EDS, SEM, etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Location Greater Boston Area
