About the Role

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for interacting with the company’s transportation, 3rd party centers, and logistics partners. The candidate will assist with the overall strategic planning and benchmarking for all transportation and logistics activities. In addition, while acting as a point of contact for third-party logistics and freight partners, the role will require problem analysis and resolution for operational issues. Further, the individual will support strategic planning by using analytics to identify potential areas of improvement. The role requires a proactive, detail oriented, and autonomous approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. The Logistics Coordinator will interface with stakeholders across the organization, and will have the ability to collaborate well and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor open orders and coordinate with vendors regarding shipment schedule.
  • Coordinate with Spin teammates, vendors, and 3rd party logistics partners to arrange shipments/receipts.
  • Monitor shipments and address issues on an as needed basis, ensure visibility of shipment status for related stakeholders.
  • Update Oracle Netsuite ERP with information on open orders, shipments, and inventory.
  • Inventory reconciliation as necessary within Netsuite and partner inventory systems.
  • Update Freightpop TMS with information on shipments.
  • Document Processes and drive improvements.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management.
  • 2-4 years’ experience with growing levels of logistics / inventory management responsibility.
  • Familiar with Enterprise Warehouse Management Systems and with Oracle Netsuite ERP.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong computer literacy and experience with data management.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google documents.
  • Experience with Freightpop TMS is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus but not required.
