Powerhouse is an innovation firm that works with leading global corporations to help them find, partner with, invest in, and acquire the most innovative startups in clean energy, mobility, and climate. Leveraging our industry expertise and an unparalleled database of thousands of climate tech startups, we provide scouting and consulting services to convert our clients’ business goals and decarbonization commitments into meaningful outcomes.
Powerhouse’s Associate will support client deliverables, including scouting for climate tech startups and consulting on opportunities for innovation. The Associate will also support Powerhouse's business development by identifying key leads and supporting our sales process.
Client Deliverables
Support deliverables for Powerhouse clients, including startup scouting, consulting, and organizing workshops that bring together startups and clients
Research trends and startups for client meetings
Support the development of Powerhouse products, including our startup intake and assessment processes
Business Development
Support Powerhouse’s business development, from identifying key leads to closing new contracts
Support the planning and visualization of sales goals and metrics in collaboration with the Head of Business Development and Director of Partnerships
Shape our business development process, internal data systems, and sales materials
Collaborate with the Marketing & Operations Associate to leverage Powerhouse’s marketing channels for business development
2-4 years of relevant full-time experience
Industry experience in clean energy, mobility, and/or climate tech
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills
Team-oriented, fast-paced, outcomes driven, high EQ
Meet and exceed deadlines with consistent follow through
Motivated by challenges, solutions-oriented, relentlessly positive
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution
