ABOUT PLEDGE

Pledge makes it simple for businesses of every size to understand and manage the climate impact of their products. By providing tools and infrastructure, we automate the delivery of climate solutions - such as footprint measurement, reduction and offsetting - into customer journeys.

We're on a mission to make businesses climate aware and help accelerate their transition to net zero. Pledge was founded in 2021 by early employees of Revolut and the co-founder of Freetrade.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Pledge’s first product hire you'll play a defining role in the strategy and roadmap of our products. You'll work in close collaboration with the founders, product design, engineering, business development and other internal and external stakeholders.

Pledge works with B2B customers across a range of sectors including logistics, travel, e-commerce and fintech amongst others. The role will entail building a deep understanding of our business and our customers’ needs in order to build and ship products that people will love to use and will contribute to the success of the business and the mission.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Coordinate and help define product strategy and roadmap, drive product releases

  • Work closely as part of a cross-functional team of product designers, engineers and other stakeholders to define, prioritize and ship product features

  • Identify and fill product gaps, solicit and capture new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth and engagement

  • Coordinate with all stakeholders on the delivery of the backlog and product releases

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Experience as a product manager successfully shipping SaaS products 

  • Experience working in an agile cross-functional product team, ideally building B2B SaaS products 

  • Strong understanding of all aspects of an agile product development lifecycle, including product strategy development, story writing and requirements definition, backlog prioritisation, development, QA and launch 

  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • A consultative mindset of listening, understanding and anticipating customer and partner needs and finding simple solutions out of complex use cases

  • An ability to work with data, ideally SQL or other analytics tools, to make data-driven decisions

  • Experience building a team as well as managing and mentoring team members and/or external contractors and freelancers

  • BS Computer science or software engineering experience
