About this job

UPSIDE Foods is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join its Accounting team at its Berkeley office. The Accounts Payable Specialist will facilitate all of UPSIDE Foods’ accounts payable daily functions. The main responsibilities of this position are to provide efficient and accurate processing of AP tasks and execution of journal entries with attention to detail and deadlines. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a dynamic environment that changes quickly.

Responsibilities include… 

• Process full-cycle accounts payable transactions (PO and non-PO), ensure accurate coding, resolve 3-way match variances and discrepancies with vendors
• Respond to vendor invoice/payment inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Provide timely responses to all accounts payable inquiries
• Review and process expense reports according to company policy
• Assist with tax filings and annual financial statement audits
• Special Projects assistance as needed

About you…

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, specifically with 3-way match and purchase orders
• Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Coupa, experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written English/communications skills
• High attention to detail and critical thinking skills
