Job Description

Brilliant Planet is seeking a Ledger Accountant with growth potential to work on all aspects of ledger finance and supporting proactively the wider Finance Team. We are currently using Xero software for all our accounting needs and the position will suit someone with prior knowledge and an exploratory spirit to push the software to the limits.

Responsibilities include:

  • Validating and Checking Supplier Accounts
  • Loading invoices and managing invoice account coding
  • Matching invoices to Purchase Orders (and working with up on process improvements)
  • Developing other in-house accounting skills (Payroll/ VAT/ Asset Controlling)
  • Support the finance function with other adhoc duties – budget preparation, presentations, prepare minutes (“Find Your Fit”)

Requirements

  • AAT or Degree level preferable but person qualified by experience will not be over looked.
  • Accounts Payable Experience in a similar SME enterprise position
  • Extensive knowledge of Xero Accounting
  • Adaptability to/from other ERPs would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of M365 Dynamics would be beneficial
