Rheaply has developed and launched a resource exchange platform for colleagues and communities to exchange resources and materials (e.g. furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other building products), tracking cost savings and waste reduction in the process. Opportunity

We are seeking a talented, story-driven PMM to work with our product, growth, customer support, and revenue teams to become the external voice of the Rheaply’s product. As our Product Marketing Manager, you will bring clarity around a multi-faceted platform that is disrupting one of the fastest growing movements on our planet: the circular economy. This role enables you to get to know our prospects and users in the commercial enterprise, healthcare, and public sector space. You’ll share our product story and updates, in delightful and measurable ways with Rheaply audiences: commercial enterprise sustainability, procurement, facilities and global workplace leaders, as well as climate investors. You will organize product launches from beginning to end and coordinate with our demand gen team to build campaigns that increase use and adoption of the platform and lead acquisition in the market. We're looking for a self-starter and go-getter! The ideal candidate should be ready to hit the ground running with Rheaply.

Roles and Responsibilities 

Content Generation

  • You’re an excellent communicator and content generator, developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates Rheaply’s unique position in resource management and the circular economy.
  • Understand and build content to show how Rheaply is better than  competitive alternatives, e.g. reverse logistics, sustainable procurement, liquidation services, recycling and disposition management.
  • Collaborates across departments to develop customer and market insights to inform messaging and content
  • Collaborate with the revenue team to create content for demos, proposals, and pitch decks.
  • Create content, leveraging a combination of research, thought leadership, product testing 

Customer Marketing

  • Turn our customer onboarding journey into marketing collateral strategies, building awareness and intrigue in the marketplace.
  • Create collateral targeting customers and users that speaks to Rheaply product value
  • Create collateral to train sales teams and warms up customers before a release
  • Bring our brand and product to life with experiential marketing at some of the nation’s biggest events in sustainability, tech and workplace innovation – but also Rheaply-hosted events.

Research and Ops

  • Become the expert on and maintain our buyer persona groups, building effective campaigns with our growth and demand gen team. 
  • Be comfortable leading meetings both internally and with our customers that participate in Rheaply-branded events and collateral.
  • Work collaboratively with our Media Content Manager to build effective strategies and project briefs for owned media projects, e.g. podcasts, webinars, and product tutorials.
  • Work collaboratively with our head of strategic partnerships, providing GTM plans for the various tiers of partnerships in Rheaply’s vibrant reuse ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications 

  1. You possess strong product marketing experience, with previous examples of successfully developing and driving the adoption of product messaging frameworks in B2B SaaS or climate tech companies.
  2. ​​Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3-5 years of marketing experience in SaaS or data products
  3. Passion for understanding customers and building solutions around their pain points
  4. You’re adept at building campaigns and GTM plans for features, working directly with demand gen teams.
  5. You’re able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment & adapt to shifting priorities
  6. You're a skilled communicator, writer and cross-functional operator (remote and in-person). You’re adept at project management and owning projects end-to-end. You can thrive in remote-heavy teams, leading cross-functional initiatives to completion.
  7. You’re comfortable educating our ideal customers around product features and capabilities. You work effectively across Marketing, Growth, Sales, Customer Support, Product, and Engineering orgs You are comfortable presenting to audiences of all levels and sizes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Live in Chicago
  • Experience working in circular tech or building products tailored for climate and supply chain leaders
  • Excellent project management skills, leaning heavily on design and process tools like Figma and Asana
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks at one time through excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel; proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required due to the potential need for travel and in-person interaction with customers in this role
