As the Global Partnerships & Business Development Lead, you will report to the Global Commercial Director and be responsible for developing new revenue channels for Zoomo, be it via new partnerships or new accounts in new market segments. We have an established business in our core market, in 2023 we are moving into new segments to further grow our footprint. This is an exciting time and the incoming Global Partnerships & Business Development Lead has the opportunity to take the green shoots of new businesses and grow them into fully-fledged business lines.

You will partner closely with Zoomo’s Commercial Strategy team and other cross-functional teams to develop these new opportunities and ensure that they can scale to be Zoomo’s next growth engine. You will work closely with our Country GMs to grow these businesses in their markets.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy and driven individual who has a proven track record of commercial structuring, balancing strategy and execution, with a flair for doing big deals. We are an operational business, so we are looking for someone who loves both an office environment as well as working in warehouses and with logistics teams. This is a role for a creative deal maker, you get to dream up, structure, negotiate and close deals in new areas. You have to be okay with the unknown and doing both commercial analysis and landing new customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the origination and execution of new enterprise logos and partnerships
  • Work with legal, finance, procurement and operations to iterate and scale our commercial offering and deliver related global strategic initiatives
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to solution building and closing of beachhead, enterprise customers and partners
  • Develop these solutions and partnerships to the point that they can scaled by global and regional sales teams and provide the global framework and playbook for them to be successful


  • 5-10+ years of experience in sales or commercial roles at high growth companies, preferably in the on demand food space, last mile logistics, fleet leasing and or micromobility space (but not essential)
  • Track record of deal structuring and developing new enterprise accounts and/or partnerships
  • A relationships person with a passion for going the extra 10% for customers
  • Exceptional communicator who can articulate what really matters to a client and can structure complex deals in simple to understand terms
  • Self-starter and excited by a growth environment. You’re willing to try new strategies while keeping the focus on achieving results and have a bias for action.
  • Humility is something that comes naturally to you. You’re a born collaborator, you seek and give feedback and you care about getting to the right answer more than who came up with it
  • You’re bought into Zoomo’s vision: to transition every urban mile to light electric vehicles
