What is the Job all About?

Circuit is growing and we need an experienced Risk and Safety Manager to join our team! This is a new role that will be an integral part of creating safety training programs, and SOPs, and will oversee the organization's insurance and risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Collaborates with regional management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies, training programs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure company compliance with OSHA regulations and reporting.
  • Manages the Worker’s compensation claims process in coordination with HR, Regional leadership, the employee, and the insurance company.
  • Serve as a liaison between insurance companies and our partner to provide current COI documents per contractual requirements.

What Do You Offer?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, business, finance, or a related field is required.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Experience working with the transportation industry is a plus!   
  • At least two years of worker’s compensation claims handling/management
  • Understanding of safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Understanding of State and Local DOT guidelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Additional information:

This position is a hybrid role that can be located near one of our main hubs of operation in Southern Florida, San Diego or LA metro areas in California, or New York City.

The candidate must be able to stand, sit, walk, and manipulate various tools to complete the expectations of the role.  The role may require lifting up to 25 lbs on an occasional basis.
