JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director provides leadership, establishes operational objectives, policies, procedures and works plans and oversee the program to ensure maximum profitability through efficient service delivery, effective client management, and strategic allocation of resources. In addition, the Senior Director will launch, grow, and scale new service areas into the marketplace.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Management
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to support management decision-making
• Communicate to manager and company leadership about project status, resource needs, and desired technical feedback
• Responsible for P&L

Business Development
• Identify industry trends, key developments, and competitive landscape for SCS's products and services; recommend and implement strategy to maximize competitive advantage
• Identify opportunities for service bundling, new service development and service enhancements to expand program offerings
• Lead outreach at tradeshows, industry meetings and events, and other activities as determined by outbound sales strategy

Operation Management
• Provide strategic direction and manage leadership-driven special projects, defining and communicating project milestones, scope of work, marketing, budgets, and resource allocation
• Lead building of operational capacity to launch projects or services
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members

Knowledge Management
• Develop or update knowledge assets, templates, tools, guidelines, processes or other supporting materials to support efficient delivery of quality services
• Establish and communicate best practices

Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or hard science (Physics
or Chemistry) Required or Master's Degree in relevant industry Preferred and
7-9 years of direct experience Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Advanced Required
    A dynamic and enthusiastic personality interested in working with a rapidly growing team
  • Providing excellent customer service in all aspects of the agency's scope of responsibility
  • Superlative organizational skills, high attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize
    numerous tasks effectively
  • Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently under pressure in a changing
    environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point Advanced Required
  • Quantitative Analysis Advanced
  • Life Cycle Assessment
  • Biofuel LCA models, e.g. GREET - Preferred
  • Experience with partial equilibrium models such as GTAP (Global Trade Analysis Project)
    to model indirect land use change - Preferred

This is an office-based job. Sit 6+ hours per day. Keyboarding 6+ hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen in person and via phone or online video conference call applications.

Pay Range:

$124k - $170K
