At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste.

Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss!

As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast, with our community of 74 million users in 17 countries saving more than 198 million meals from going to waste. We are incredibly proud of this, but there’s still a lot more we want to achieve.

We are now looking for an exceptional Head of Creative Production to join the global team at Too Good To Go in our London or Copenhagen office. 

Your mission

Your mission is to accelerate the growth of quality new users and stores to Too Good To Go and keep them coming back for/with more!  We’re trying to make saving food a daily habit, and we need to impact more people in more countries than ever before to help us save a Billion meals by 2025.  The advertising communications that your team produces, will be the first touch point for many people around the world to hear about the issue of Food Waste and the solution of Too Good To Go.


Your role and responsibilities

This is a new role within the global creative centre of excellence, reporting to the Leader of the Global Creative Function.

Your team will be responsible for the mass production of advertising communications creative assets for the global brand.  You will lead a team of transcreators and designers to adapt global creative master copies into the most impactful relevant language and appearance that will deliver against our objectives.  

The team will adapt the masters into multiple formats across all platforms, with the majority of formats being digital creative assets.

With 10 languages and 750 million people in our current markets, there’s a lot of people to reach and the team will be transcreating and adapting to meet this need. They will need to deliver exceptionally high-quality creative assets, on brand, on objective, on spec and on time.

We need to raise the bar in everything we do, to be increasingly efficient and effective in our marketing and you will need one of the teams most critical to the next phase of our growth. To have impact at scale we need to deliver best in class performance, educational and longer format creative at a fast pace, with the highest possible quality.


Your role: 

  • Lead the new global creative production team to transcreate, design and produce high-quality, high-spec, brilliantly crafted creative at fast pace
  • Inspire and motivate a large, distributed team at different stages of their careers in different countries to consistently raise the bar in their delivery and team engagement
  • Advocate and role model the balance of the consumer-centric mindset with the commercial necessity of delivery at pace and scale
  • Deliver impactful high quality creative assets, on time, on brand, at pace
  • Collaborate with the global creative team and the global advertising, media and digital team to advise on how processes / format selection / creative masters could be improved to deliver more impact at scale.  And flagging early when issues occur.
  • Understand broader trends - in creative production, including tools and processes to advise the business on how the performance of the team can be continually improved through all possible means
  • Learn from the performance of specific adaptations what should and should not be done in the future to deliver 
  • Support the development of planning through expectation and resource management
  • Advise and consult with country marketing teams to the right level needed to maintain the new highly efficient process, with the right level of engagement and consulting
  • Think team first - constantly try to improve communication, motivation and reinforce the values within your team and across the functions.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in leading the creative production function of a major advertising agency
  • Experience in leading a distributed team across multiple countries
  • Pragmatic mindset. You’re passionate, hands-on & caring. You take initiatives to get the job done, and keep the team motivated and delivering no matter how hard the problem seems.
  • Team Player. You have good communication skills and the ability to translate unclear ideas into tangible actions and operational objectives
  • Eco-conscious. You’re truly passionate about sustainability and fighting food waste as you know the urgency of change and action for the planet.
