Showroom Assistant

Ampler creates sustainably built e-bikes that excite and inspire. We work towards making emotive zero-emission commuting available for everyone. Our bikes are suitable for anyone and they help relieve air pollution as well as eliminate daily stress around traffic and parking. What you will be working on:

You will play important role in creating an excellent customer experience for our customers in the Netherlands. On a daily basis, you communicate with customers, introduce our bicycles, and coordinate and schedule test rides in the Amsterdam Showroom. As we have a workshop next to our Showroom, you accept the warranty bikes and forward the information to our mechanics. Your tasks include assisting the Showroom Manager, maintaining the showroom according to our standards and contributing to the organisation of events in the showroom. You are flexible with work times - our showroom is open Tue-Fri from 10:00-18:30, and Mon and Sat from 12:00-18:00.

What you need to succeed in this role:

You will shine in this role if you enjoy interacting with people and are interested in the biking industry. You can express yourself freely in Dutch and in English as this way you can communicate with our customers and our international team. You are confident in using digital tools and find excitement in working in a fast-growing and rapidly changing environment. You have a problem-solving spirit, care about the environment and share our values of sustainability. 

Who you will be working with:

Ampler bikes are made by a team of 120+ people spread between Estonia, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Our headquarter is in the heart of Estonia's capital Tallinn and our world-class factory is in Jüri, Estonia. Ampler showrooms are located in Berlin, Cologne, Tallinn, Amsterdam and Zurich. Our offices are located in Tallinn and Berlin. We pride ourselves in having strong team values that point us in the best direction whenever we make decisions. You will join the Amsterdam team working alongside the Showroom Manager and a Bike Mechanic.

• The gross salary for this role is 2300€ per month (for full-time, 38 hours per week). Depending on your work experience, you will be placed on the same salary scale as in our collective labour agreement.
