What do we do?

ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.

What are we looking for?

To support the company’s growth, we are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our global Solution Commercial Team. You will report to the Head of Insurance/Reinsurance Practice in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Find, and sell new business
  • Grow relationships and revenue in each account
  • Participate in the implementation of a strategy that will result in profitable sales and growth of the overall business.
  • Create, develop and own a sales pipeline of opportunities to hunt and close new business
  • Build a territory plan to penetrate assigned targeted accounts
  • Qualify and forecast new business opportunities accurately
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements
  • Work as part of a passionate team committed to the success of ICEYE
  • Exceed assigned sales revenue goals
  • Travel extensively throughout the Europe and someytimes globally to meet with prospects to win

Requirements

Must have:

  • 5-10 plus years of successful selling software or data to Property and Casualty insurance companies in Europe/Global.
  • Ability to create an opportunity from prospecting and leads
  • Ability to manage a complex consultative sales process, collaborating with peers through ICEYE to close opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to travel over 30% of the time
  • Proven success selling to the largest complex global insurers

Preferred to have:

  • Deep claims technology experience
  • Deep cat modeling and analytics experience
  • Large network of relevant contacts within target accounts
  • Experience working in an early-stage company
