About the Role

Government plays an important role in climate action. Both via regulation, incentives, funding and grant programmes (of which we are a recipient of). As more transformative technologies come online and ramp-up in capacity, it is important to engage with government and other stakeholders; in particularly around building awareness for the potential of carbon utilisation, as well as carbon neutral / negative chemicals and the CO2 savings it can deliver. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders and engage in discussions around carbon capture and utilisation regulatory updates
• Work closely with the founding team on developing a strategy for policy and communications
• Own and deliver the core strategy which will cover the regulatory landscape (both on the chemical side, and climate side) as well as funding opportunities
• Work with the founders and key stakeholders (especially our customers) on understanding the full CO2 LCA for our current and upcoming projects
• Draft external and internal communications materials, including thought leadership materials

• 3+ years in public policy or similar fields
• Experience with the chemical industry and / or climate policy a big plus
• Strong academic background (STEM degrees preferred)
• Analytical mind and proficiency in Excel + PowerPoint
• High agency - willing to roll up your sleeves to get sh*t done
• Passionate about solving the climate crisis
