Based in Grenoble (France), we are currently establishing our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).

In the coming years, we will focus on building the world’s most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually and creating 1200 direct jobs.  

In joining us you will actively participate in this breathtaking industrial adventure toshape the future of European mobility.

 We have an exciting opportunity as process technician for our Verkor Innovation Center, our pilot line, based in Grenoble. In this role, you will be working on the heart of our future factory where you will monitor processes, test batch quality, maintain equipment logbooks, ensure the area is clean, and report any machine faults to your supervisor.

To ensure success, you should have keen observation skills, experience with industrial equipment design, and the ability to stand for long periods. Ultimately, a top-class process technician can identify faults and suggest manufacturing improvements to increase production throughput.

You will embrace the objective of building and structuring Verkor as the most advanced battery manufacturing company in the world.


Process Technician Responsibilities:

  • Identifying a monitoring production machine parameters.
  • Monitoring and testing product/batch quality.
  • Ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Identifying machine faults and production rate errors.
  • Maintaining production logbooks.
  • Reporting faults and breakdowns to supervisors and production engineers.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe production area.
  • Ensuring all service personnel adheres to safety protocols.
  • Identifying areas of production that can be improved or increased.

Process Technician Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience as a process technician.
  • Excellent analytical and observational skills.
  • Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes.
  • Advanced report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work shifts and possibly nights.
  • Comfortable working in a noisy environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
