Brief Overview:

We are looking for a frontend engineer or UI developer who has hands-on experience with Angular in the front end web development. You will be involved in bringing features from design to web UI components that scale to high volume production quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the engineering, design and product team to design and develop new features to Plantix’s web application focusing on high performance implementation without neglecting the user experience.

• Testing software to ensure responsiveness, stability and efficiency.

• Help the team improve the existing codebase by promoting thoughtful design patterns and testing solutions.

• Come up with innovative solutions to the hurdles that confront us on a day-to-day basis.

• Evangelizing code quality through writing well-architected, structured code, unit tests, while following best industry practices.

• Ensuring that the needs of the team are met along with personal growth. You must have previously demonstrated the ability to collaborate and work with team members in a remote setup.

• Refactoring, optimizing and constantly driving for improved efficiency and code health.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of web development experience.

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.

• Version control using Git.

• Well versed with Unit/Integration tests using Jasmine, Karma, Cypress etc and test driven development(TDD)

• Ability to adapt, estimate workload, solve problems, self-improve and suggest new ways of improvement.

• Reverse engineering skills: ability to traverse logical sequences of either procedural or object-oriented code, abstracted or static - and understand it entirely.

• Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and have a "Can Do" attitude.

• A serious passion for coding, with the ability to intuitively pick up and use any new language/protocol/framework.

• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, strong verbal and presentation skills.

• Well versed with Unit/Integration tests using Jasmine, Karma, Cypress etc and test driven development(TDD)

Nice to have:

• Prior experience working with AWS services (S3, Route53, Cloudfront etc.)

• Knowledge of CI/CD

• Familiar with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA, Azure etc.
