Job Description

We are looking for an Insurance Product & Sales Manager join our TaaS (Truck as a Service) division.

We’re creating the world's safest commercial vehicles by re-imagining conventional truck design principles, thanks to our full-electric drivetrain, and thus protecting vulnerable road users. Our electric powertrain also eliminates harmful tailpipe emissions, removing harmful pollutants that contribute to climate change. What you will do:

 Insurance product design:

  •  Define the MVP (minimum viable product) product Volta Trucks must offer to its customers in line with legal requirements and customer needs.
  •  Consolidate and synthesize knowledge on customers’ insurance-related needs and pain points. Even those that are currently unknown to them.
  • Setup and maintain the Volta Trucks’ insurance product roadmap, keeping track of priorities, new opportunities, risks, challenges, and dependencies.
  • Establish a continuous improvement loop for the Volta Trucks insurance offer and sales customer journey leveraging customer insights, corporate strategy, and market opportunities.
  •  Identify potential partners who offer innovative products or solutions to support the continuous improvement of our insurance offer.
  • Insurance sales and marketing:
  •  Define the insurance sales customer journey with a digital, mobile-first, lean approach. Set up and steer the working groups needed to make this customer journey a reality
  •  Present the Volta Trucks insurance offer in the simplest and most compelling possible way through different channels (web site, sales materials, Confluence) to Volta Trucks and its customers
  • Join the sales teams in conversations with important hesitant customers to help them understand our insurance offer and its value

We would like you to have:

  •  Proven track reccord working with innovative insurance or financial products & services
  •  Customer facing experience with corporate clients
  •  Excellent communication skills oral and written
  •  Strong resilience and flexibility: Ability to drive projects to success in rapidly changing environments
  • Entrepreneurial and continuous improvement mindset
  •  Ability to successfully work with cross range of teams internationally
