Job Description

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for an Operations Coordinator/Executive Assistant  to join our Operations Business Office. This is a hybrid role split between the manufacturing facility in Steyr, Austria and remote working. There will also be a requirement to travel to other Volta sites across Europe & UK on an ad-hoc basis.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join the Operations Business Office to support and work closely with the senior leadership team across Operations and Manufacturing. 

What you will do:

Working within the Operations Business Office, the role takes full responsibility of the process and execution of visits by any third party into the Steyr manufacturing site (Customer & supplier visits, Board, investors and institutions) and develops the overall experience further. In addition to this, the role will support Manufacturing & Logistics senior management in preparation of decision-making material for management meetings.

  • Support the Chief Manufacturing Officer and Head of Operations Strategy in parts of their day-to-day business, for both strategic and operational topics including preparation and follow-up of management meetings
  • Arrange, conduct, and improve third party interactions at the Steyr plant (customers, suppliers, investors, and auditors)
  • Act as a supportive interface between senior management and third parties (As part of partner management
  • Support senior members of the team with ad-hoc, ongoing administrative tasks - Travel arrangements, diary management, meeting preparation 

We would like you to have:

  • Proven organisational skills/ability and ability to work across different functions
  • Proven experience supporting business functions - diary management, expense management, data processing, travel arrangements 
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement and ability to liaise with people at all levels both internally & externally 
  • Previous experience arranging and planning events and meetings 
  • Good knowledge/experience Microsoft packages 
  • Ability to speak German is highly desirable for this role
