Industrial Deployment Intern - Paris - September 2023 - M/W

As the world leader in alternative animal proteins, Innovafeed contributes to the construction of a sustainable food system by developing a pioneering and innovative industry: the breeding and processing of insects (Hermetia Illucens fly).

- Dealing with global protein deficit by strengthening our food systems

- To have a positive overall environmental impact based on circular economy and inspired by natural food chains;

- To generate territorial economic dynamism : in order to feed and raise our larvaes, we are co-located with agro-industrial partners that provide us with co-products and low footprint energy.

 

Incorporated in 2016, Innovafeed manufactures and sells 3 different insect-based products:

· Insect protein for a more sustainable and qualitative aquaculture, especially for feeding salmon and trout 🐟

· Insect oil for feeding animals (like pig and poultry), in the context of sustainable farming respectful of animal welfare 🐤 

·  Insect feces used as an effective organic fertilizer 🌱

In September of 2022, at Innovafeed, we raised US$ 250 million in Series D funding bringing the total cumulative financing to US$ 450 million. This capital will be used to further increase our production capacity in France through the further expansion of our Nesle site in the north of France, the world’s largest vertical insect farm.

You will join the industrial deployment team whose role is to:

- Select our future sites;

- Ensure the worldwide deployment of our industrial symbiosis model;

- Participate in the adaptation and improvement of the model.

 

Missions:

- Participate in the definition and implementation of the industrial deployment strategy in Europe, Asia and America.

- Elaboration of summaries and analyses supporting the deployment strategy and the identification of levers for improvement of our model.

- Participation in the implementation of an industrial project abroad in coordination with other Innovafeed teams (R&D, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Business Development), our industrial partners and public partners.

 

 

You have at least 6 months of experience in a business school, engineering school “grand Ecole” or equivalent.

We are looking for people:

- With excellent written and oral expression (French, English);

- With excellent research, strategic analysis and synthesis skills;

- Autonomous;

- Proactive;

- With curiosity and taste for innovation and technical subjects;

- Experience in consulting and/or in the field would be a plus but not mandatory.

- Proficiency in the Office pack and in particular a very good command of Power Point and especially Excel.
