Account Executive (Smart Buildings)

Logical Buildings is an industry-leading smart building / energy management software and solutions company empowering the nation’s largest multifamily and commercial real estate managers to reduce energy and operating costs and achieve sustainability goals.

Logical Buildings is seeking an Account Executive to join our Smart Buildings Solutions Engineering team!

Responsibilities

• Energy data analysis and client reporting: an ideal candidate has experience in and curiosity for building decarbonization, clean energy, sustainability and data analytics
• Solutions engineering: utilize building energy and systems data to prescribe specific decarbonization and energy management technologies, strategies and solutions
• Support business development activities: conduct market outreach, represent Logical Buildings at industry conferences, design client scopes of work, etc.
• Customer Success: engage with stakeholders across client base from portfolio managers to on-site engineers, providing building energy performance insights and training to enhance building efficiency and decarbonization goals
• Research new rebate/incentive programs, energy regulations and smart building technologies

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for sustainability, cleantech, and energy efficiency
• Experience in energy data analytics and sustainability reporting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment; self starter mentality a must
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Suite Office 360 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent written communication, presentation, organizational, and time management skills

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional setting with a sustainability and/or energy focus as part of the role is required. Preferred backgrounds include consulting, public sector, utility, energy, and/or real estate.
• This position is a mostly in-office position in midtown Manhattan, with the ability for remote work when necessary.

Base salary range: $60,000 - $90,000
