Product Manager - EU

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Product Manager in the product department, you will play a key role for delivering a differentiated product to market that addresses a market need and represents a viable business opportunity, and to ensure that the product profile meets the company overall strategy and goals.  You are playing a key role in providing market insights for EU market. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Assist Product Management at head quarter defining the roadmap of products, taking into consideration local market requirements
• Understand the need of new features dictated by collaboration with key customers
• In touch with tech department of key customers and conduct technical trainings to them
• Be a part of team in managing local product launch process
• Provides administrative problem-solving support to sales engineering and service when codes and standards issues arise with our customers
• Work closely with local AHJ, standard bodies, and utility to understand the requirements and support our customers and provide support to product development
• Maintains up to date knowledge of technologies and trends that could impact Tigo product installation

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE

• BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as product manager with PV systems and module level power electronics or similar products.
• Comfortable working with all communication protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Self-starter and organized.
• Strong knowledge of National Electric Code (NFPA 1), local jurisdictional requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and Company standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiar with current residential PV and storage electrical and mechanical equipment.
