Senior Engineering Lead

As one of the first and only data science companies in the HVAC industry, Specifx is poised to disrupt and redefine a large, antiquated marketplace through digitization and automation.  By providing asset-level detail and actionable insights for HVAC portfolios at scale, we believe we can drive transformational outcomes that reduce the impacts of climate change.

Engineering Lead will:

• Write and review code (day-to-day expectation of writing code)
• Design /  deploy APIs with modern approaches such as Next.js, Node.js, GO, etc.
• Use non-relational databases such as MongoDB
• Assess / use relational databases such as FileMaker
• Show a track record of excellent people management (two direct reports to start)
• Evaluate our current tech stack and manage improvements / changes needed as the business scales its user base
