Job Description

Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to make molecules to decarbonize our world! Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels. 

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support the operations of our facility in Natick, MA. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Engineer, you will support the daily incoming and outgoing corporate shipments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe and accurate receipt of items and ensuring all pricing and quantities are accurate before receiving in the computer system
  • Verify deliveries according to purchase order and invoices by comparing invoices to purchase orders and ensuring the products in each delivery match invoiced product.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, packing items and labeling boxes with shipping information
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to coordinate pickups and deliveries of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and member-ready area
  • Provide excellent customer service to all vendors and team members
  • Complete routine and special tasks efficiently with a minimum amount of guidance
  • Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and open, sort and stock receivables
  • Follow all EHS policies and ensure compliance with all applicable shipping and receiving regulations and procedures
  • Maintain stock of shipping and packaging supplies, including boxes, tape, labels, and pallets, and ordering additional supplies
  • Distribute deliveries to the team members and lab areas to support ongoing operations
  • Use pallet jack, lifting table and other hydraulic lifting tools
  • Other general tasks

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months logistics, retail or customer service experience
  • Availability to work all scheduled shifts
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, online Project tracking platforms)•
  • Willing to obtain a forklift license•
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving operations in a manufacturing or startup environment
  • Knowledgeable of safety regulations related to handling and shipping hazardous materials
  • Experience operating a forklift

Compensation & Benefits

Natick Zone
$16$32.25 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
