At Plantix, we sell Agri-Inputs via our e-commerce platform (mobile app) to retailers. As working capital is always a restriction for retailers, a credit option is crucial to increase our Top-level revenue growth. Plantix does not underwrite itself, but works with 3rd party possibilities either with Fintech platforms or directly lenders to provide credit to their retailers.

The person in this role will manage this credit profile. He/She will work closely with Business Development (Sales) team, Credit lenders (NBFC’s), finance and senior management in controlling and managing credit exposure and risk.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a VP Credit , you will be responsible for-

• Will be responsible for the overall credit function of entire organisation

• Establishment of internal controls and processes for credit onboarding, assessments, restructuring, monitoring, and recovery

• Developing strong partnership with our mobile product development team

• Will be responsible to design and expand the digital future of our credit products

• Negotiation of credit terms and agreements with lenders and/or Fintech platforms

• Performing closely with our EVP Finance and has team leadership function

Education & Experiences

•  Minimum Master's Degree in Finance Management or a Chartered Accountant. 

• Good academic record throughout the career.

• Maximum of 8 years of experience in any financial/banking/fintech.

• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience.

• Prior experience in an Agritech / Food Tech / E-commerce company would be advantageous.
