Retail Sales Associate & Cashier

EcoBuilding Bargains is hiring a bilingual English/Spanish Retail Sales Associate & Cashier. The Retail Sales Associate & Cashier handles cash at the register and works as a salesperson to sell our used building supply and specialty products. We are looking for someone who can develop relationships with our valued customers, providing them with product knowledge and construction remodeling education for their home improvement products to create a unique shopping experience for everyone who enters.

Responsibilities:

• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Establish rapport and provide customer service while conveying EcoBuilding Bargains' principles and values to customers.
• Work safely to restock merchandise, work on displays, and contribute to store housekeeping.
• Provide updates to management in regards to status of sales or customer concerns.

Who should apply?

• You work hard, can work independently, and have a great attitude towards people and our mission.
• You have at least 1 years' work as a cashier and/or sales experience in a retail environment, or relevant skills and experience.
• You speak English and Spanish.
• You have excellent verbal communication skills and are able to establish rapport with customers.
• If you have knowledge and experience with building materials, that is helpful
• You must have the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the day.
