Sales Internship Summer 2023

Role Purpose

The summer internship in LevelTen Energy’s Madrid Office will support sales and customer success activities as part of the Customer Engagement team.  You will learn about the renewable energy industry, how to research renewable energy developers and buyers in Europe, and execute demand generating email campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer Research
  • Assist the Buyer and Developer Engagement teams in researching developers and buyers to target for specific campaigns.
  • Assist with researching customers to meet at upcoming conferences in the Fall to ensure the Customer Engagement team is very efficient and prepared for events.
• Demand Generation
  • Work with the Account Management team to generate demand for renewable energy procurements by sending targeted emails and following up with phone calls and/or zoom calls.
• com administration
  • Learn the most common Customer Relationship Tool in the industry, salesforce.com, by aiding the team in cleaning up customer data. This will requiring determining duplicate or old data, and researching customers online to correct and update the system.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• An interest in renewable energy and learning about accelerating the clean energy transition.
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
• 3rd or 4th year College Student studying business, environment, energy or another relevant field.
• Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships.
• Excellent organizational, time and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner.
• Ability to willingness to do research and pay attention to details.
• Initiative and self-motivation to work independently at times.
