Location: This position is hybrid in Arlington VA 1-3 days a week/month as needed.
This position is hands-on in various Safety and Quality initiatives. This includes:
· Assist Program Solutions Specialist with various databases such as salesforce, LMS, confluence, Power BI and Jira.
· Assist Program Solutions Specialist to perform trend analysis on various safety and quality metrics.
· Work on closing out CAPAs (Corrective and preventative actions)
· Assist with internal quality audits; Participate in various Safety and quality meetings.
· Assist with project related safety and quality audits.
· Participate in the lessons learned program.
· Assist in building monthly training PowerPoints and SCORM files.
· Participate in Safety Committee and Social Accountability Board
· Assisting on a Global level with various tasks
The outcome of this internship you will allow the intern to:
Become familiar with various OSHA regulations.
Become OSHA 10 certified.
Become knowledgeable on how to perform a root cause analysis / mishap investigation.
Learn to write professional processes and procedures.
Learn to create power point presentations.
Learn to write and document meeting minutes.

What does the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program focused on Communications, Business Admin, Occupational safety, Environmental Management or Analytics
- Experience and solid foundation in Microsoft Office (Excel, Office, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with PowerPoint
- Interest in analytics, with a focus on data management
- Eager to learn various Safety and quality practices.
- Time management skills
- A candidate with a growth mindset, is a collaborative/team player, and is a self-starter is highly preferrable.
