We seek a highly motivated and hands-on individual to join our Development Operations team. As a Process Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our R&D iron anode production. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a diverse team to produce, document, and characterize anodes for our product scale batteries. Your work stream will directly support the development and optimization of a core part of our technology. You will make keen observations on process anomalies, recommend process improvements, and articulate findings to our electrode process development team for further analysis.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a flexible 24/5 8-hour shift schedule that enables an around-the-clock production cycle to support a rapid production ramp. We understand that work-life balance is essential and strive to provide our employees with a predictable and manageable work schedule.
What You'll Do:
Inspect, organize and prepare raw materials and components
Follow standard operating procedures and document process conditions and deviations
Assemble and disassemble standard and R&D tooling
Continuously improve the process for existing production and analysis protocols
Support engineers and scientist in executing their experiments
What You'll Bring:
2+ years experience in an R&D or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with mechanical assembly
Solid communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization
Flexible with changes in schedule
Ability to lift 50 pounds and to be on your feet for extended periods
