Battolyser Systems is looking to recruit a Marketing Professional

We develop and manufacture products that can store electricity and produce hydrogen from renewable power to balance societal demand in a truly revolutionary way. First, some background information on Battolyser Systems. Eight years ago, some really smart people at the Delft University of Technology invented the world’s first integrated battery- and electrolyser system. They named it a ‘Battolyser’ and realized this invention could connect renewable power generation in a revolutionary way with how society will consume energy in a net zero emission world. To make real impact, the technology was spun-out of the Delft University of Technology into a company in 2019 to demonstrate a proof of concept in an industrial setting. And so, Battolyser Systems was born.


Fast forward to today. We have a patented and proven technology, we are commercializing our products and made our first sales. We are starting up our first factory and are planning the fully automated mass manufacturing version to be ready in 2024. Present day we have attracted more than 50 people and anticipate to double this next year. Our people are amongst the top talents in the renewable energy and hydrogen market, passionate and motivated to make a difference. In growing the company we are looking to recruit a Sales Manager to help deliver Always Clean Energy to the world.


About the role:


You are responsible for driving the marketing efforts at Battolyser Systems. You will be reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Your key responsibilities and tasks for the next 12 months will include:


  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to promote our company's products and services to B2B customers in the green hydrogen/energy transition industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement a content strategy and a comprehensive digital marketing plan.
  • Co-own and report on marketing budget.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including LinkedIn, Google Ads, Display Ads, email marketing, and social media ads.
  • Plan and execute SEO, SEM, and PPC campaigns to improve website traffic, keyword rankings, and lead generation.
  • Manage the company's website CMS, including updating website content, pages, and blog posts.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, utilizing Google Analytics and other tracking tools to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Manage and allocate the digital marketing budget to maximize ROI, track and monitor expenses, and provide accurate financial reports.
  • Monitor, coordinate and execute the company's conference/exhibition schedule, including coordinating logistics, collateral development, and onsite support.
  • Manage the content calendar for all digital and printed marketing materials, including brochures, white papers, case studies, and other marketing collateral.
  • Manage the Hubspot CRM/CMS platform and develop targeted campaigns to nurture leads and improve conversion rates.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies and apply best practices to enhance the digital marketing strategy

Who are you:

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B digital marketing, with a track record of successful campaigns and growth initiatives.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Google Ads, Display Ads, email marketing, social media marketing, SEO, and PPC.
  • Strong understanding of website CMS, with experience in creating and managing website content.
  • Experience with Hubspot or other CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
