Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Manager will look after payment transactions and the financial commitments of our company. This role will need to maintain ledgers, oversee tax-related processes, maintain spreadsheets and database of valuable information and uphold the company’s policies and image with customers, therefore contributing to its growth. To succeed in this role, candidates should be focused on optimizing department processes and building lasting relationships with others within and outside of the business. They should be knowledgeable, analytical, and decisive with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Reactivate AP team including vendor management
• Interface with cross functional teams from product development up to and through operations and asset management to ensure payments are made timely and the company’s financial obligations are met efficiently
• Manage and supervises the accounts payable department and staff in the organization
• Ensure that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee 1099 tax information
• Keep track of the company’s financial expenditures, maintain a database and provide reports as and when requested by management
• Manage all data entry, validation, and processing of various types of invoices like general overhead, subcontractor, and employee travel reimbursements
• Track the status of all transactions taking place within the company and external vendors and contractors
• Be active on the customer service front and be quick and accurate with communication
• Operate as a key leader on the Reactivate team in a nimble, start-up environment
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

•  A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience with track record of effective problem solving 
• Proficiency in with accounting software, with preference for experience in Sage Intacct 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with employees, supervisors and clients
• Strong analytical skills coupled with adept time management skills
• Proficiency in deliver strong presentations
• Meticulously organized and detail-oriented with strong planning abilities
