PUR is looking for a Data Analyst to be based in Costa Rica.
PUR manages different projects across the world and collects the data linked to those projects. The field teams monitor and follow each project around the world with different tools such as Kobo. All this data pipeline aims to improve our impact and our projects in the field. The IT team manages this data to build a strong data pipeline.
As a key member of the Data and IT Team, you will report to the Lead Data Manager for LATAM & North America.
You will support the project team by implementing field data collection for the follow-up and the monitoring of activities in Central America and Mexico.
Your responsibilities will include in a non-exhaustive manner:
We are looking for a candidate with:
Graduate with a Degree in Data, Information systems, Environmental engineering / Technology, Science, Rural development
Engineer spirit (experience or passion for programming such as SQL).
Any experience with Environmental projects (reforestation and agroforestry projects) will be a strong plus;
Basic knowledge on Survey123, Survey CTO, Kobotoolbox or ODK. XLS form knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge or experience in GIS;
Power BI is a plus;
Proficient command of Excel;
Ability to communicate easily and diplomatically in a multicultural environment;
Fluent in English and Spanish. Any other language is a plus.
