About this role :



  • We are currently hiring a CSA Integration Manager to join our Construction Team at our future gigafactory located in Bourboug, on the outskirts of Dunkirk (North of France). As such, you will be a project team member, interacting with project stakeholders, architects, and engineers to develop and analyze the virtual construction process in order to maximize construction efficiency and job cost savings, as well as enhance project documentation and delivery.

Responsibilities :

  • Communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation before, during, and after construction

  • Develop and maintain Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for CSA elements

  • The successful CSA implementation of operations and maintenance end user requirements to the factory design

  • Oversee the structural, mechanical, electrical, utilities, site, environmental, and other construction and engineering drawings for the facility.

  • Lead the Architecture discipline’s BIM project delivery with a team of other BIM Architects, modelers, etc.

  • Assist the BIM Manager in preparing BIM guidelines for project-specific requirements, training project personnel in the use of BIM tools, planning and scheduling, assisting in cost estimation, and issuing change orders, notices, and revisions.

  • Develop schematic and detailed level BIM models, including interior and exterior architectural elements

  • Identify conflicts, incomplete, or ambiguous design information.

  • Coordinate with BIM service providers and subcontractors.

  • Create new library components and maintain Architectural BIM Library

  • Prepare 4D simulations

  • Partnering with internal customers to establish project scope, schedule, and deliverables

  • Create, review, and release design RFPs

  • Manage our external design consultants through the design and construction process.

  • Coordinate with internal and external Mechanical, Electrical, control, and Cabling design engineers

  • Effectively communicate design standards to internal and external project partners.

  • Interpret regulatory codes for compliance

  • Manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously

Requirements :

  • University degree, preferably in a field related to architecture (CSA)

  • At least 8 years of advanced working knowledge and experience with the following software applications as well as typically used terminology, standards, and practices: Autodesk, Revit, and Navisworks

  • Strong knowledge of lean construction principles, methods, and tools

  • Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge and understanding of construction methods, processes, and systems.

  • Knowledge and understanding of common construction terminology and nomenclature as well as various building types and systems.

  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and BIM execution plans.

  • Proven track record of partnering and issue resolution.

  • Experienced managing multiple stakeholders and work stream managers.

  • Ability to be highly effective in a client-facing role.

  • Demonstrated great analytical and strong communication, presentation, and written skills.

  • Applied Civil, Structural, and Architectural Knowledge

  • Ability to use judgment, problem-solving ability, self-starting, and ability to prioritize based on relevant factors
