Job Description

The HR Generalist will be part of an evolving HR team in a dynamic,fast-paced company. The HR Generalist supports many functions includingemployee relations, performance management, policy implementation andemployment law compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries relatedto HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer the semi-annual performance evaluation process.
  • Provide quality guidance and interpretation on various humanresource policies, procedures, laws, standards and governmentregulations.
  • Provide employee-related data and reports to various departments ona regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Provide guidance to management on employee relations issues(coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)guided by company\'s policies, labor-law legislation, and state andfederal agency requirements.
  • Support investigations on employee, customer and vendor complaints,including, but not limited to, harassment, discrimination andviolation of company policies.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience working for a multi-state and global company
  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Customer-focused attitude with high level of professionalism anddiscretion
  • Sound judgement and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency using HRIS systems and Microsoft suite
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

Preferred Skills

  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
