Kraken powers some of the most innovative global developments in energy.

We’re a technology company focused on creating a smart, sustainable energy system. From optimising renewable generation, creating a more intelligent grid and enabling utilities to provide excellent customer experiences, our operating system for energy is transforming the industry around the world in a way that benefits everyone.

It’s a really exciting time in energy. Help us make a real impact on shaping a better, more sustainable future.

KrakenGeneration

Kraken Generations vision is to transform infrastructure through technology for a more sustainable world. Our mission is to become the go-to technology provider for renewable energy operators who are serious about safety, automation and efficiency at scale.

Our technology has two primary functions. For offshore wind farm operators, our sophisticated modular solution is designed to manage marine coordination, work management and health and safety control through a single integrated platform. For asset owners and funders, our software enables asset managers to streamline reporting, improve data quality and manage risk and compliance.

As a company, we seek to collaborate, deliver and grow. We listen to our customers and each other in order to offer support and share our expertise. We have trust and confidence in our team and let our creativity flourish. We don’t have all the answers and are always learning. Underpinning everything we do is a commitment to help deliver the energy transition to combat climate change and limit environmental destruction.

As a software engineer at Kraken Generation you will be building tools that empower renewable energy operators and managers to understand, optimise, and enhance the performance of their assets. Your work will help uncover valuable operational insights, streamline reporting, boost efficiency and manage risk. You’ll be delivering innovative projects that will shape the future of renewable energy management.

  • To enjoy pair programming and be carrying out constructive code reviews.
  • Exposure to agile working practices.
  • A strong sense of ownership for the work you do. You’ll be responsible for testing the software you build and ensuring it behaves as expected in production.
