We are looking for a carbon market DAC Project Development Manager, someone who intimately understands the carbon landscape from an African and international perspective.
Our client, a systems integrator and project development firm, is one of the few leading the charge to decarbonise Africa’s energy-intensive infrastructure. They are seeking a DAC Project Manager to oversee several DAC projects through the entire project lifecycle.
You would be part of a high-calibre team, working on one of the biggest DAC projects in the southern hemisphere. Stakeholder engagement with private and public stakeholders in the industry is crucial to your success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of project development
- Stakeholder engagement with both public and private entities
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to track project progress
- Prepare comprehensive, engaging, and insightful reports and presentations
- Contribute to our clientâs knowledge base and expertise in novel DAC technologies, including identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Contribute to commercial negotiations with DAC project partners during the project development phase and support in developing additional DAC deals in Kenya and the region
