We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our Module/Pack Process team, which is responsible for developing new innovative manufacturing process & technologies to solve complex design challenges that have a direct impact to future products, quality and delivery of compact & function-integrated products.
This role is located in our gigafactory in Bourbourg (on the outskirts of Dunkirk, north of France). A temporary stay in our Innovation Center in Grenoble (east of France) can be possible, depending on your arrival date.
Main responsibilities :
Develop an optimized module production flow through the whole manufacturing process, which may include machine selection, tool/fixture selection, line layouts, ergonomic studies, material presentation, and other relevant factors.
Interface with PM, product design, test, and quality engineering to solve problems, improve manufacturability, and implement continual improvement.
Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes.
Sustain products with cost reduction and yield improvement.
Work with quality to compile and evaluate data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
Participate in the transition of a product from concept to pilot line production and into mass manufacturing.
Analyze and optimize production processes while maximizing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) in cost-effective means
Continuous improvement to maximize yield, capacity, and capability.
Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, and train operators as needed.
Requirements :
Engineering degree or other applicable degree in related field
2 years minimum of experience in developing and improving manufacturing process
Good technical and analytical skills in continuous improvement, failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issue
Good understanding of Bill of Materials, MES, specification management and ability to perform DOE, data analysis, and SPC controls
